This is my specialty! Most people feel nervous during headshots. I provide active coaching on posing, expression, and "the chin" to ensure you look confident, approachable, and authentic.
What should I wear for my professional headshot?
Choose solid colors that complement your skin tone; avoid busy patterns or large logos that distract from your face. For a "Corporate" look, well-fitted blazers work great. For a "Creative" look, rich jewel tones are highly effective.
Individual sessions typically take 20 or 60 minutes, depending on which package you choose. Both provide plenty of time for capturing different poses with over 100 images taken in 20 minutes, and over 200 in 60 minutes. The 60 minute session provides time for outfit changes and various lighting setups without you feeling rushed.
How long does a headshot session take?
Do you provide retouching, and what does it include?
Yes, every final headshot includes professional retouching. My goal is for you to look like you on your very best day—I handle blemish removal, stray hairs, and skin evening while keeping your natural features intact.
How often should I update my professional headshot?
Generally, you should update your headshot every 1–2 years, or anytime you significantly change your appearance (hair color, glasses, etc.). An up-to-date photo builds immediate trust with your LinkedIn and professional network.
